DESCRIPTION:I was recently booked to play drums with the Night Train Big Band at the Herning Sommerfestival 2024. Should be a lot of fun! \nThe band comprises of up to 20 enthusiastic jazz loving musicians who play a diverse repertoire of big band music spanning from Count Basie through to Michael Bublé\, Weather Report\, funk\, Latin American rhythms and even movie themed music. DESCRIPTION:I’m looking forward to playing drums with the Jelling Big Band at the Jelling Musikfestival 2024. \nThe band is a full-scale big band that plays everything from jazz standards through to newer classics and instrumental pieces. \nThe Jelling Musikfestival started back in 1989 and has grown over the years to become an International 4 day celebration of music. The festival takes place annually at the end of May and hosts an audience of more than 35.000 people. It caters to diverse range of music genres and just a few of the well known acts to have appeared over the years include the band Queen\, Paul McCartney\, Elton John\, Lewis Capaldi\, Nickelback and Lukas Graham. \nClick HERE for more information about the gig and HERE for ticket prices to the festival.

DESCRIPTION:I will be playing at Tøjhuset\, Fredericia\, DK in a jazz trio setting with the pianist Janus Kobbersmed and bassist August Hofman Bøegh. The concert includes originals by both Janus and August as well as music by Brad Mehldau and Michel Petrucciani. \nJanus has played on the Danish scene in various settings including the trio Spine and the award winning collaboration with poet Søren Ulrik Thomsen. \nAugust is an upcoming bassist from Fredericia who plays in various projects including RØD SOL and Horisonten trio. \nThere will be a jam session following the concert. \nClick HERE for more information.
