I will be hosting the jazz jam at Pica Pica in Aarhus this coming Wednesday.
I’m really looking forward to playing an opening set with 2 of the most exciting, young breakthrough jazz musicians on the Danish scene. The Odense based pianist Carl-Emil Dons previously won the Bucharest Jazz Competition in 2022 with his trio. The bassist for the evening will be Simon Turp who currently lives in Aarhus.
The trio will be playing a set of standards with energy and intensity, which will then be followed by an open jam session. So come on down, play or simply enjoy some great jazz vibes.
